Smoke or Haze
Our staff will monitor the air quality through the official Oregon government website here. We will continue to operate our programs until they reach the red “unhealthy” levels of air quality. An email or text message will be sent out in the event of a cancellation. If you are concerned about the air quality for your child, we urge you to use your best judgement and withhold them from physical activity if you think it is unsafe.
Thunder and Lightning
In the case of a thunder and lightning storm, we will move campers to a safe area indoors. Should the field location not have one suitable, we will cancel the camp and notify all parents/guardians that they need to pick up their player immediately.
Refund Policy
The policy of the Portland Timbers is to issue no refunds after a child has participated in a game, practice, or event. Prior to playing in a game, practice, or event, a refund of the registration fee will be issued upon request. The Portland Timbers reserve the right to place an administrative fee on any and all refunds.
We also reserve the right to offer refunds for acts of nature that cancel or reduce camp time. Some examples of this include, but are not limited to smoke/haze, high winds, lightning, extreme heat, hail or heavy rain.
